Have fun and help elect progressives to the Virginia House of Delegates! Every year is an election year somewhere, and this year the Eugene chapter of Sister District working to help our friends in Virginia maintain their slim blue majority in the state House (and, while we’re driving voters to the polls, flip the VA governor’s office blue too).

Bring your crew (and a $10 donation from each of you), grab some tasty food and drink from Claim 52, and settle in for a lively evening of trivia and community connection. Whether you’re in it to win or just there for the fun, our trivia host will guide you through rounds that are sure to entertain, challenge, and spark some laughs along the way.

Guest Trivia Host

Joining us as guest host is Jesse Maldonado who is an adjunct professor at the University of Oregon, a committee chair for the Democratic Party of Lane County (DPLC), and a Lane Community College Board Member. He’s a dedicated local organizer and advocate for progressive change right here in Lane County. We’re thrilled to team up for a night of fun and fundraising that helps build power—from Eugene to Virginia!

Claim 52 Kitchen moved to their bigger and better location at 232 Lincoln Street in Eugene. It’s a huge new space with plenty of seating and parking. So grab a drink and some food from their new menu and join us upstairs for a fun night of trivia.

Fundraising for Nadarius Clark in Virginia’s 84th House District

Your donation goes directly to our next 2025 candidate, Nadarius Clark. Delegate Nadarius Clark is a community activist, organizer, and Virginia delegate fighting for working-class families.

In 2021, Nadarius made history as the youngest Democrat ever elected to the House of Delegates and the first African American to represent his district. He champions consumer protection, reproductive rights, and education funding while serving as Chair of the Public Safety subcommittee on Firearms and Vice Chair of the Agriculture, Chesapeake, and Natural Resources Committee.
